Description
As a Jay Vo Media 1099 Photojournalist, you will be tasked with capturing breaking news stories as they occur in the Tucson Metropolitan Area. Utilizing state-of-the-art police scanner technology and electronic news-gathering equipment, your work will often appear in local and national markets.
Jay Vo Media provides newsgathering services and investigative reporting to the valley of the sun by working with public safety officials and local affiliates. At Jay Vo Media, we believe in creating a new era for journalism.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with the newsdesk (dispatch);
- Monitor police and public safety radios;
- Respond to and film newsworthy incidents as it breaks our standards;
- Edit and package content to our server to our standards;
- Develop a healthy, respectable, and trustworthy relationship with public information officers, patrol officers, firefighters, and other public safety officials in your assigned area.
