Description
Wittmann News currently recruiting a photojournalist for the Wittmann, Morristown, Wickenburg, and Surprise areas. Tasks include capturing breaking news stories as they occur in the far northwest valley (emphasis in Wittmann).
Wittmann News, LLC, a subsidiary of Jay Vo Media LLC is dedicated to delivering accurate news reports relating to the Wittmann area by working with our local business, public safety, and government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor police and public safety radios;
- Respond to and film newsworthy incidents as it breaks our standards;
- Edit and package content to our server to our standards;
- Develop a healthy, respectable, and trustworthy relationship with public information officers, patrol officers, firefighters, and other public safety officials in your assigned area.
Qualifications
- 2 or more years in photography or photojournalism;
- 1 or more years of management experience;
- Reside within 15 miles of Wittmann, Arizona.
Education
- High school diploma/GED/or equivalent;
- Degree in journalism, fine arts, or communications.
Experience
- 6 or more months in photography, journalism, or communications.
